»ãÓ¯ÓéÀÖ Has Begun Local Production of EV Charging Connector KW1E Series in Europe

»ãÓ¯ÓéÀÖ (hereafter »ãÓ¯ÓéÀÖ) has started production and sales of high voltage fast charging connector "KW1E Series" through business collaboration with a production partner in Europe.
In anticipation of further expansion of charging stations, »ãÓ¯ÓéÀÖ will expand its European-led product strategy through the effective supply chain and develop new CCS2-standard products.

Jussi Takaneva, General Manager of Marketing and Product Management, »ãÓ¯ÓéÀÖ Europe said, “The business opportunities for High Voltage High current charging connectors and harnesses are increasing. »ãÓ¯ÓéÀÖ has been involved in the business and also the standardization of these products for several years. In addition to commercial benefits, being able to produce these products closer to our customers is supporting the overall green transition goals we have”.

Wataru Oyamada, Managing Director »ãÓ¯ÓéÀÖ Europe said, “Output from a factory in Europe will help to strengthen remarkably the whole supply chain. In addition, it is encouraging for us to prove that the new European Design Centre founded a year ago within »ãÓ¯ÓéÀÖ Europe is contributing to this launch of production in the areas of design, process engineering and quality. I expect the product portfolio from this local production location to expand from now on to meet the customers’ demand in this fast growing market.“
